This role will be instrumental in producing high quality 2D animations for our games and multimedia projects.
Role Overview
The 2D Animation Expert will be responsible for designing and creating visually stunning animations that bring Livetainment’s games and content to life. Working closely with designers, developers, and creative leads, you will craft dynamic animations that captivate players and elevate their gaming experience.
Key Responsibilities
Animation Production:
- Create engaging 2D animations, including characters, environments, UI elements, and effects, for games and multimedia projects.
- Develop smooth and dynamic frame-by-frame animations and rig-based animations.
- Collaborate with the art and design teams to ensure animations align with the project’s artistic vision and technical requirements.
Design & Conceptualization:
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to conceptualize new animation styles and techniques.
- Translate storyboards and concepts into high-quality animations.
Optimization:
- Optimize animations for performance across different platforms, including mobile and desktop.
- Ensure all animations meet technical constraints and integrate seamlessly into the game engine.
Collaboration & Feedback:
- Work closely with the creative team, game designers, and developers to iterate on animations and improve their quality.
- Provide and incorporate feedback to ensure the highest quality output.
Key Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
- 3+ years of professional experience as a 2D Animator in gaming, entertainment, or a related industry.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality 2D animations for games or multimedia projects.
Skills:
- Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, Spine, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, weight, and movement.
- Experience in character animation, motion graphics, and visual effects.
- Familiarity with game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) is a plus.
- Excellent storytelling and conceptual skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Language:
- Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Turkish is a plus.
